Tunis Airport
Tunis Carthage International Airport is the international airport serving Tunis in Tunisia.
Tunis-Carthage International Airport is the largest airport in Tunis. It is located 8 km northeast of the city of Tunis and east of the historic city of Carthage, 7 metres above sea level. Like the vast majority of Tunisian airports, the airport is managed by the Office of Civil Aviation and Airports (OACA).
A new charter terminal in Tunis airport was inaugurated on 23 September 2006, relieving traffic by having two terminals. It was built on an area of 5500 square metres, making the new Terminal II capable of handling up to 500,000 passengers per year. The facility consists of three buildings; departures, arrivals and transit.
